Five Years of Purpose. A Celebration of Culture. A New Chapter for Inclusive Fashion.
The 5th Annual Fashion Showcase celebrated the organization’s journey of advocacy, creativity, and community while looking beyond our history toward the possibilities ahead. In partnership with the Resource Centre for the Blind of Grenada, this milestone production brought Caribbean culture, fashion, and the lived experiences of blind and visually impaired people into one shared space.
With the theme “Turning Ideas Into Inspiration,” the 2026 showcase challenged us to imagine what becomes possible when an idea is given room to grow. Fashion became the language, culture became the connection, and the runway became a place for confidence, creativity, and representation.
A CARIBBEAN CELEBRATION
The spirit of the Caribbean was woven throughout the 2026 experience through music, movement, fashion, and storytelling.
Inspired by Grenada and the wider Caribbean community, the evening created an atmosphere of celebration while strengthening NME’s connection to organizations and advocates working to improve the lives of blind and visually impaired people throughout the region.
The showcase represented something larger than a five-year anniversary. It reflected the relationships, partnerships, and shared vision that have allowed Not My Eyes to extend its reach beyond its original community.
A RUNWAY OF MANY VOICES
From casual and upper-casual looks to men’s fashion, lingerie, swimwear, formalwear, and evening couture, the 2026 runway moved through a diverse range of styles and creative perspectives.
Designers brought their individual aesthetics to the showcase, while models interpreted each collection through their own presence and personality. The production also recognized the fashion professionals and longtime contributors whose creativity and collaboration have helped shape NME’s runway over the years.

Five years of Not My Eyes came together in 2026 through fashion, friendship, partnership, and celebration. The anniversary recognized the people and communities that have helped shape the organization from its earliest days while honoring the journey that brought NME to this milestone.

FROM THIS RUNWAY FORWARD
The 2026 showcase closed one chapter and opened another. Through its partnership with the Resource Centre for the Blind of Grenada, NME extended its reach into the Caribbean while supporting access to assistive technology, mobility resources, and community programs.
The fifth anniversary was a celebration of how far we’ve come—and a glimpse of where we’re going next.
