Meet Our Team
Annalee Bowen Smith – Founder/CEO
Annalee Bowen Smith was born in Bridgetown, Barbados, and in 1989 moved to the United States, settling in Uniondale, Long Island. She completed her high school education in New York and earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Long Island University in Brooklyn, graduating with a 3.7 GPA. During college, she experienced visual impairment, which strengthened her resolve to empower others and fueled her lifelong dedication to advocacy.
Kiana Vion Glanton – Brand Ambassador
Kiana Vion Glanton is a trailblazing advocate, athlete, and creative force committed to reshaping perceptions of disability, beauty, and excellence. A proud graduate of Stony Brook University, Kiana is the co-founder of The ResQue Experience LLC and currently serves as the Development and Special Projects Manager at Lighthouse Guild, a leading nonprofit serving the blind and low-vision community through medical, vocational, and rehabilitation services.
