LEAD DESIGNERS

ROBERT E. KNIGHT

Robert E. Knight was born and raised in Brownsville, Brooklyn, New York in 1968. He attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, graduating in 1992 with a degree in Menswear. Finding menswear design limiting and having always been a fan of asymmetry, color, and prints, he discovered a passion for injecting all three elements into one‑of‑a‑kind garments. In 1995, he began concentrating on creating straight size womenswear. In 1998, he expanded his work to full‑figured womenswear.

His philosophy is:

“To produce timeless, special, fun, and often one‑of‑a‑kind creations… all with the intention of providing years of enjoyment to the wearer.”

He has assisted at numerous high‑end designer companies including, but not limited to, Dolce & Gabbana, Zac Posen, Peter Som, and Calvin Klein.

His designs have graced the bodies of many celebrities including model and reality TV personality Cynthia Bailey; TV and radio personality Wendy Williams; actor and female impersonator Harmonica Sunbeam; Grammy Award‑winning vocalist Monica; Grammy‑nominated vocalist Martha Wash; violinist and mezzo‑soprano Tona Brown; supermodel and actor Tyson Beckford; Broadway actor Alex Newell; Gwen DeVoe, CEO of DeVoe Event/Creator of Full Figured Fashion Week; and Tawana Blassingame, CEO of the Full Figured Industry Awards/Creator of Queensize Magazine.

He currently serves as the Head Designer for Not My Eyes, leading the creative direction and signature aesthetic of the brand’s runway and editorial collections.

  • In 2017, Robert was honored with the Full Figured Fashion Week™ Designer of the Year Award for his contributions to the full‑figured community.
  • In July 2018, Robert became the first male to grace the cover of Queensize Magazine (The King Size Issue).
  • In 2019, he received the Kurvacious Fashion Designer of the Year Award.
  • In 2021, Robert received the Outstanding Male Designer Award at the Full Figured Industry Awards.
  • In 2023, he received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award as well as the Danny Glover Power of a Dream Award for his service in fashion and the community.
  • In 2024 he was awarded “Designer of the Year” by Not My Eyes Inc.

Robert’s ultimate goal is to open his own boutique in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York.

LIVI RAE LINGERIE, MOLLY HOPKINS

Molly Hopkins is a southern belle with big city dreams. Molly is a single mother of two beautiful daughters, and a body positive advocate who uses her voice to promote change.

With over 20 years of experience in intimate apparel, Molly is the owner of LiviRae Lingerie, a business that she started in 2006. LiviRae Lingerie is a boutique that specializes in bra fit, bust health, and custom intimates. Since it’s opening, LiviRae Lingerie has garnered the support of individuals from all over the world.

In 2013, LiviRae Lingerie found its way into the homes of millions as Molly became the star of Lifetime’s reality show, Double Divas. This is when Molly’s star status became more apparent, thanks to her wit, southern drawl and over the top personality.

In an effort to remain true to women’s issues, Molly uses LiviRae Lingerie to celebrate women of all sizes, disabilities, race, and age. Molly believes in the inclusion of all women and understands the importance of diverse representation. Nothing exhibits her beliefs more than the ambassadors selected to represent the brand; black, white, plus size, standard size, and wheelchair bound women were all selected. These women were placed in the windows of LiviRae Lingerie with pride, and when body shamers and negative people came for them, they started the #NOSHAMELIVIRAE campaign. The campaign provided another moment for these fearless women to speak up and out. With national media outlets such as Allure, The Today Show and CNN supporting the Double Divas.

In 2018, Molly found her way back into the homes and hearts of people around the world while looking for love on 90 Day Fiancé. Since then, she has become an invaluable asset to the 90 Day Fiancé franchise and has been asked to host recaps and other several other 90 Day shows.

Whether it is on television or in her store, Molly’s passion for empowering women is undeniable. She is a woman of many talents and gifts of which no gift is greater than her willingness to be a catalyst for change.
