Lisa Dunkley has been a dedicated member of the Not My Eyes family since the organization’s very first fashion showcase. In 2022, she was recognized as Social Media Diva and Runner-Up in the competition. She returned in 2023 and was again named Runner-Up, demonstrating her continued commitment and participation.When the 2022 competition winner was unable to continue in the Brand Ambassador role, Lisa stepped up to serve in her place. She carried the role forward with consistency and dedication, becoming a

Lisa holds a Master of Arts from Hunter College and has built a professional career centered on mathematics, education, and accessibility. Her experience includes working as a mathematics tutor and serving as a Learning Specialist with the Accessibility Resource Center at Hostos Community College, where she supports students with disabilities in developing academic and study skills. She is also the founder of Math Star Systems, reflecting her continued commitment to mathematics education and student success.

Lisa has lived with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia (ONH) all her life. One of her greatest accomplishments is becoming a Math Learning Specialist for the Accessibility Resource Center at Hostos Community College. Lisa hopes to make life more accessible for herself and her mother.
