My name is Alexis Riddick, and while I’m originally from Elizabeth City, NC, Raleigh, NC has truly become my home. I’m currently pursuing a PhD in clinical psychology and working as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, serving the visually impaired community. Born legally blind due to a rare genetic mutation, I’ve dedicated much of my life to advocating for inclusivity and empowering others as the spokeswoman for “Anything is Possible.” My passions include psychology, fashion, self-care Sundays, naps, food, shopping, and music. I’m committed to promoting positive mental health strategies for people of color and individuals with disabilities. Additionally, I aim to create spaces where those with visual impairments can showcase their unique talents and potential in the fashion and modeling industry.
